On the E550 you can configure the Internal RAM to 256Ko. When you turn the pocket it ask to initialize the memory. Then a FRE0 return 256K.
I will test for the RAM card.
Yes the E550 has the same ESR-L CPU.

It is not possible to settle the extension internal RAM and also the Slot RAM extension despite the switch off action. After that the computer remains the same that means it keeps the factory parameters thus 64Ko and no slot extension.
Otherwise, could you tell me if this pocket computer has the same architecture than the PC-E500S and thus if can use the same ESR-L instruction code ?
