Dear PockEmul’s fans, I am pleased to announce the new PockEmul release. It will be available in the next few days.
It includes the Texas Instruments TI-74 Basic Pocket Computer and the TI-95 Procalc programmable calculator.
The Texas Instruments TI-74
The TI-74 is a pocket BASIC computer released in 1986, successor of the CC-40.
It comes with a quite powerful BASIC regarding its competitors and some extensions modules which bring more memory and features.
It is the only pocket computer with a PASCAL language (excluding the unreachable Pascal module of the Casio PB-2000).
All documentations (The Pocket and its modules ) are available in English directly in PockEmul and from this web site.
The emulation is not yet perfect and some features are missing:
- The HexBus peripheral protocol is not yet managed.
- There is no printer management
The Texas Instrument TI-95 Procalc
The TI-95 Procalc introduced in 1986 is a powerful programmable calculator.
It proposes an unusual form factor with a 2 lines LCD display.
It can be considered as the successor of the never released TI-88.
It can be extended with memory module or features modules (Mathematics and Statistics)
All the documentation are available directly ib PockEmul (and from this web site) and you will spend a lot of time discovering this very powerful calculator.
The printer is not yet managed.
Porque no hacen un emulador para la Casio pb-880
Because there is no technical informations about this model and there is no easy way to extract its ROM.
